Default What was wrong?

I was doing glints with a warrior, and we both ran Sab and seperated multiple times. Each time my group would die. Is it because I don't have the runes and weapons for my necs yet or what? And I am having trouble making a decent rt build for me to run with Sab, and with which henchies while solo vanquishing. Thanks

Did you have a physical weapon, elemental weapon, and interrupt, and something to kill her stances?

He's talking about glint's challenge, in eotn, not the prophecies mission boss. Why (and where for that matter) would he do a split in the proph mission?

Seperating is probably your problem.
When I run it with a friend who's also using Sabway we stay close, but still pick a side to generally stick to.
I usually run it on an alt, so I don't have any runes or anything for my heroes but still have no problems.

I find that swapping out one of my necs for a paragon that can spam Anthem of Weariness helps a lot, but it's not at all necessary.

Also, if you're both running the exact same variants of Sabway, it might help for one of you to switch it up a bit and have both your setups complement each other better.

As for your other questions, I can't really help since I've never played a rit...

I always thought sabway was a no-go due to the mesmers using [Hex Eater [email protected]]

Runing is smart. You should look into that.

If I had to say why you are dying and your buddy isn't, I'd guess that you are going right (where all the Deeds come).

For your Rit: I found Splinter/Barrage to be pretty strong in that particular challenge.

Yes discordway is not the best build for that run. Sabway is not as bad since it has less reliance on hexes/conditions, but not great either. Some people claimed to have done it with RoJ monks.

That's why I prefer to swap out my curses necro for a paragon to spam [Anthem of Weariness].

I also substitute [Putrid Bile] for [Rotting Flesh] (mainly because I bring [Toxicity]).

However, the first time I ran it with a friend, I didn't change anything and ran with just a basic Sabway setup... it still wasn't really a problem to complete.

Right now I'm thinking it was because my SS is kinda geared towards physical damage and there wasn't any.

Maybe I should try running a rt/d spirit's strength build, XD.

yep, rit splinter barrage will be quite good especially vs the first wave.

Suggestion:

[build prof=rt/r channeling=14 marksmanship=12][barrage][triple shot][distracting shot][nightmare weapon][splinter weapon][ancestor's rage][comfort animal][charm animal][/build]

14 spec splinter barrage big boom boom. Finish off single targets and destroers of life popping up in the fifth wave with triple shot + nightmare weapon. Pet soaks some aggro and allows you to easily bring [ancestors rage] to a large ball of destroers. :>

Zealous for sure. You can also use [volley] if you do not have [barrage].

Just playin' around with attributes for laughs. Been known that you could do that for a while now.

[splinter weapon (pve)@1337][[email protected]]

You might want to consider the following pve skills in Super Igor's build:
["By Ural's Hammer!"@10] [Ebon Battle Standard of [email protected]] ["I Am The Strongest!"@10]
